BBC journalist Ben Brown left some on social media bemused after being filmed accidentally groping a woman's breast as she gatecrashed his live interview.

The woman, who was carrying several bags and wearing a leopard print top and black jacket, stood between the pair and said: 'Absolutely fantastic'.

The BBC news presenter reached out and pushed the woman away, his hand on her chest, as he continued with the interview.

Smith politely asked her to leave them alone during the live segment on BBC News just after 2pm, saying: "Yes just give us one second, alright?"

The woman then hits him on the shoulder before walking away looking disgusted.

After the original exchange, Norman Smith went on to highlight confusion that emerged after Jeremy Corbyn's speech at the manifesto launch over Labour's position on reversing benefit freezes.

After the broadcast had ended Mr Brown tweeted: "Unfortunate interruption of broadcast in Bradford - just tried to minimise disruption but v tricky live on air - completely unintentional".
