The Best Donald Trump and Sean Spicer Moments from 'Saturday Night Live'

Freda Brock | 17 May, 2017, 20:25

Spicer's outside of the briefing room doing recon from the bushes - a real thing for which he will be forever known - until he busts back in and takes over the session.

Spicer was hiding in the bushes to start the segment, but eventually walks in with a fire extinguisher and blasts chemicals all over a reporter's trousers. He now takes a dim view of the show, which has also regularly featured an unflattering portrayal of him by Alec Baldwin wearing orange make-up.

"That's right, Spicey's back, Sarah's out", McCarthy's Spicer yells. The press secretary whips out a Matryoshka doll set to explain why Comey had to go. The actress caricatured Spicer as an angry, over-the-top concealer of the truth while attacking reporters with his stand.

"I know we think this every week, but this week was insane", says Colin Jost, in kicking off Weekend Update. Because he told us so. "He hired lawyers to agree with him".

First, she was asked about Trump's mental state. When Jake, er, Comey is opened, Spicey says "our friend Hillary Clinton" is next, but it's actually Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

The Comey debacle is just the latest example of how Spicer handled himself poorly while fielding questions on why Trump fired the former Federal Bureau of Investigation chief.

Donald Trump 'asked FBI Director James Comey to drop Michael Flynn investigation'
Comey's bombshell account of the February conversation is the latest headache for a White House increasingly in turmoil. Chaffetz is referring to what former F.B.I Director James Comey allegedly wrote after a meeting with President Trump.

Then they kissed and made up, literally, with Trump and Spicer locked in a tight embrace.

"Sean, come on. I would never do that", Baldwin's Trump insists. According to the Kansas City Star, Spicer "hid near/around/behind some bushes outside the White House".

Fans had much to look forward to on this week's second-to-last episode of "Saturday Night Live" hosted by Melissa McCarthy.

There's no question that working in Donald Trump's communications department is no easy task, especially now that he's president. The faux president then told his faux press secretary to kiss him.

Glen Thrush (Bobby Moynihan), a favorite target of McCarthy's Spicer, asked if Trump was "unhinged".

"Saturday Night Live" turned up the heat in its season-long series of jabs at President Donald Trump and his administration.
