The 45-year-old Amtrak conductor was shot about 4:45 p.m.at the Naperville station at 105 Fourth Ave., according to Naperville police.

Bond has been set at $1.5 million for the Wisconsin man accused of shooting an Amtrak conductor in IL earlier this week, according to DuPage County officials.

Edward Klein, 79, of West Allis, Wisconsin, is being held without bond in the DuPage County Jail, according to the DuPage County sheriff's office. Knowing Klein needed to get to Chicago to catch a train to Milwaukee, Case stopped him from getting off at the Naperville station, enraging Klein, prosecutors said. According to the police officials, who made a statement right after the incident got over, and this statement says that a person recognized as an old train conductor got shot in the stomach by a passenger.
