Govt to form committee to study issues of women in film industry

The actresses and women technicians made a decision to form a new union, considering the problems faced by women in Malayalam film industry. For the first time in the country, women film professionals in Malayalam celluloid have formed a collective, called Women collective in cinema, mainly to fight against sexual exploitation and gender disparity in the industry.
