What did Trump reveal in the White House meeting?

Officials said the President told Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov details of the "inner workings" of Isis that could expose the source of the information - one of America's allies - and the methods used to obtain it.

US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have spoken by phone, an Israeli spokesman said Wednesday, as controversy brewed over the US president's sharing of intelligence with Russian Federation that came from Israel.

There are three levels of classification of USA intelligence material.

Starting with press secretary Sean Spicer insisting inaccurately that President Donald Trump drew record-setting inauguration crowds, top presidential advisers have provided information that is provably false or contradicted by others in the White House, including Trump himself.

Meanwhile the White House, which had tried to hose down the story yesterday, has changed tactics.

Sen. Bob Corker, a Tennessee Republican who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Monday the disclosure would be "very, very problematic" if true.

But Defense Secretary James Mattis said that USA allies had not expressed concerns to him about the possibility that sensitive intelligence may have been compromised, noting that he spoke to two North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies on Tuesday and "it never came up".

In an interview with ThinkProgress, Mr Green said that following the dismissal of James Comey, Mr Trump "is demonstrating that he has the power to dismiss people summarily, with impunity, unless he's impeached". But the classified information he shared with a geopolitical foe was nonetheless explosive, having been provided by a critical US partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so delicate that some details were withheld even from top allies and other government officials.

NHS ransomware attack raises concerns about online security
The virus is primarily targeting older versions of Windows since Microsoft had already released a security patch for Windows 10. Other than that, there are some decryption tools that claim to decrypt the files that the ransomware have locked down.

What has been the White House's explanation? The White House vowed to track down those who disclosed the information. "They do not have our best interest at heart".

Trump fired Flynn on February 13, on grounds that he had misled Vice President Mike Pence and other officials about his contacts with Russians.

The intensifying drama comes as Trump is set to embark Friday on his first foreign trip, which had been optimistically viewed by some aides as an opportunity to reset an administration floundering under an inexperienced president. "Two other senior officials who were present, including the secretary of state, remember the meeting the same way and have said so". But the White House has provided differing accounts of the firing. "Memos, transcripts, tapes - the list keeps getting longer", he said.

But in an interview with NBC's Lester Holt, Trump later admitted that he had made the decision to fire Comey well before Rosenstein's memo, in part because he was frustrated by the director's investigation into possible collusion between his presidential campaign and the Russian government. The Post reported that Trump shared "code-word information" - one of the highest classification levels - about terror threats. "This story is false", deputy national security adviser Dina Powell said Monday in a written statement. When that ended, Trump asked everyone to leave except Comey, and he eventually turned the conversation to Flynn.

"Israel has full confidence in our intelligence-sharing relationship with the United States and looks forward to deepening that relationship in the years ahead under President Trump", Dermer said.

He added Trump did not have a "conversation that was inappropriate or resulted in any kind of lapse in national security".

This info is said to have been provided on condition that Washington not reveal who came up with the goods. "What was shared was wholly appropriate given the premise of that conversation".

The report, quoting an unnamed USA official, said, "This (the information shared) is code-word information".
