'Star Wars Battlefront II' Featurette Released

Freda Brock | 19 May, 2017, 22:26

EA has released a new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II, this time focusing on the particular story of character Iden Varsio, the commander of Inferno Squad.

Much like the late, great TIE Fighter it sounds like Battlefront 2 wants to delve into an Imperial story.

However, a special counsel has less autonomy than a special prosecutor, a role phased out in 1999. Pelosi calls the White House unruly and undisciplined and says it "needs adult supervision".

Bone up on your Star Wars knowledge with our list of the best PC Star Wars games.

The new featurette takes inside the development of the game with Lucasfilm creative executive Steve Blank and EA Motive game director Mark Thompson as they pull back the curtain on the single player campaign which will continue to humanize the Empire in new canon. We've already been privy to the announcement that Battlefront II will have a dedicated campaign told through an Imperial, rather than Rebel, point of view, by way of Imperial pilot Iden Versio, but now we get to know more. Not just about her, but the methods of recruitment that the Empire employs as a whole. Rather than the Clones in the prequel films, the Stormtroopers aren't bred for war; they are non-conscripted soldiers who are all fighting for their own reasons and goals. One of the most innovative ideas for the Star Wars series that I have seen yet, as most seem to be very focused on the Jedi and all that they do. Otherwise, we'll find out the true tale of Inferno Squad on November 17.
