Thursday, May 18 - 7:06 a.m. - MBI releases information on second vehicle (Honda Civic) and a description of the passenger who got out of the auto and stole the Camry with the child inside.

It was not until later, Mason said, that Archie told authorities that her son was in the vehicle.

The stolen vehicle was found on Gluckstadt Road at a dead end behind the ABC warehouse.

Authorities later arrested three teenagers. Capital murder charges are pending, authorities said. "His mother has to deal with this". It's unclear if they knew the boy was in the Camry at the time it was stolen. The passenger jumped out of the Civic and into the Camry, where Kingston slept.

A decision by a mom to leave her son in a running vehicle outside of a Kroger supermarket has resulted in tragedy.

Authorities found Kingston Frazier shot at least once in the back seat of his mother's stolen Toyota Camry, abandoned in a muddy ditch, said Jackson Police Commander Tyree Jones.

Kingston was taken from the Kroger parking lot off of Interstate 55 in Jackson in the early morning hours.

David Archie's phone rang and his face fell.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a missing child in Jackson, Mississippi. All three are behind bars without bail at the Madison County Detention Center. The body of the boy was inside.

Kingston Frazier, 6, was found dead inside the vehicle, which the thieves abandoned in a ditch.

Harrowing footage that has gone viral online now reveals his family were only told he had died when they turned up to a police press conference. Authorities cut short their update. Unable to stand, a family member carried her down a flight of stairs at the district attorney's office in downtown Jackson.

Ebony Archie's friends rushed the locked office door, desperately trying to reach their friend. Law enforcement on scene wiped away tears.

Three suspects are in custody. Two were 17 years old. According to investigators, Wakefield was previously an accomplished high school athlete, playing quarterback for Ridgeland High School football team just last season.

Ebony Archie collapsed after learning her child had been killed.

"That's evil", the boy's great aunt, Velma Eddington, told the Clarion-Ledger. That baby hadn't done nothing.

When asked the location of where the shooting took place, Sheriff Tucker said he couldn't give an exact location, but they couldn't charge an individual with capital murder unless the crime took place within the county.

Screams and cries can be heard in the background as Kingston's dad shouts: "They killed my son, they killed him, they shot him, they shot him". Those people are evil.

WJTV spoke with distraught family members who described searching for the boy through the night. "To me, it's hatred".

Little Kingston Frazier was supposed to graduate from kindergarten Thursday from North Jackson Elementary School.
