Graco Children's products is recalling 1,393 child vehicle seats in Canada due to a problem with harness webbing. So, despite the recall, education is also very important when it comes to auto seat safety.

It says harness webbing on the auto seats failed to meet Canadian standards for breaking strength. The seats were made on July 22, 2014 and have a code of 2014/06 on a tag that's on the webbing.

In Graco's case, some vehicle seat models don't provide the proper protection as they may not keep the child safely restrained in the event of a auto accident. However, models from the affected production date range that don't have that webbing tag code are not affected.

Over the past 60 years, safety has been and will continue to be our priority at Graco.

Melania publicly snubs Donald Trump again

Graco is notifying consumers who may be impacted and is providing, free of charge, replacement kits with new harness restraints and installation instructions. Graco traced the problem to a single batch of webbing.

Affected customers may contact Graco consumer services via the gracobaby.com website at http://www.gracobaby.com/en-US/contactus or at 1-800-345-4109 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. ET).

The recall is expected to begin July 17, 2017.
