Frank Miller's 'Sin City' To Become A Television Series

It should be noted that the second film, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, was a huge bomb in Hollywood and ended up losing a lot of money.

I really like the style of Sin City, but sometimes I felt that gritty parts in the comic ended up looking cartoonish in the live-action movie.

Glen Mazzara, who ran The Walking Dead for two seasons, is one of the producers on a new iteration of Sin City now in development by the Weinstein Company.

The pontiff took the occasion to condemn the attacks, repeating his statement that killing in the name of God is blasphemy. El-Sissi had declared a three-month state of emergency following the attack on two churches north of Cairo on Palm Sunday.

Mazarra is no doubt a fine choice to craft a story based on Frank Miller's legendary, jet-black series, what with his extensive experience across The Walking Dead and FX drama The Shield. The latest example is the news that TWC/Dimension is now developing a television version of Frank Miller's graphic novel Sin City, which was previously adapted into two successful films for the studio. His series of neo-noir comics kicked off in April 1991 with the first serialized installment appearing in "Dark Horse Presents Fifth Anniversary Special". It'll be directed by Len Wiseman of Underworld and Sleepy Hollow and overseen by Stephen L'Heureux, the producer of 2014's truly bad Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (here's hoping he's learned from his mistakes). L'Heureux will also produce the series alongside Mazzara, Wiseman and Bob and Harvey Weinstein, as well as Frank Miller himself.

The site mentions that this small-screen take will "hew closely to the graphic novels", but also that it's going to be a "far departure from the films, introducing original characters and timelines within the Sin City universe".

There's a Sin City TV series in the works, with some big names attached to the project. Details are scarce, but networks are already circling the project. When the directors returned to the world nine years later, the same wow factor wasn't fully there, and audiences and critics were less impressed.
