Before her performance, she and her dancers held hands in solidarity.

Grande canceled upcoming shows in London and Switzerland to prepare for Sunday's "One Love Manchester" concert.

Grande emerged onstage for the One Love Manchester concert Sunday. She also performed "Better Days" with Victoria Monét and sang "Where is the Love" with the Black Eyed Peas.

One of the most powerful moments was when the Parrs Wood High School Choir performed Grande's "My Everything" with the singer.

The night really is all about love!

Ariana said she had not planned to play so many of her big hits but changed her mind after meeting the mother of Olivia Campbell, 15, who was among the victims of the blast at her concert.

Singer Ariana Grande has returned to the stage two weeks after a suicide bombing killed 22 people at her concert in Manchester.

The crowd went wild when Justin Bieber showed up, with a guitar, to perform an acoustic version of his song "Love Yourself". "I love you so much".

Crowds then erupted into defiant cheers this evening after an emotional minute's silence as they paid tribute to the victims of the Manchester and London terror attacks.

In the aftermath of the horrific attack, the police in Manchester -much like those in London - have worked tirelessly to protect everyone in the city from future harm.

"Manchester, your bravery is our hope", Braun said.

"And this is so handsome, you guys made that decision, you looked fear right in the face and you said "no we are Manchester and the world is watching". BBC, the host broadcaster, is producing TV coverage.

Marcus Mumford of Mumford and sons opened the show with "Timshel", followed by the Manchester pop group Take That.

Robbie Williams led the thousands inside the venue in a chorus of: "Manchester, we're strong, we're strong, we're strong".

Greater Manchester Police Chief Superintendent Stuart Ellison said there would be a "significant number of officers" at the venue and encouraged people to leave bags at home.

"I don't feel or smell or hear or see any fear in this building".

Miley Cyrus said she was "so honored to be at this incredible event" and performed "Happy" alongside Pharrell Williams, who also sang "Get Lucky".

More than 50,000 crowded into Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground to watch Grande headline the benefit.

The sentiment was echoed by fellow pop star, Justin Bieber, who said "You guys are so fearless". The attack killed 22 and wounded dozens.

She shared some photos of the visits on her social media account.

Thorpe's eight-year-old daughter, Lily, suffered a shrapnel wound in her back and is recovering from surgery.

The Guardian reported that Lily was released from the hospital in time to attend the benefit.

The concert will air live on Freeform at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday.
