Beyoncé and Jay-Z "thrilled" to welcome twins!

Freda Brock | 19 June, 2017, 03:52

According to sources that spoke to People and Us Weekly, Beyoncé's twins arrived earlier this week. Big sister Blue Ivy probably can't wait to get her new baby siblings home and help mom take care of the newest family members.

Beyonce's father has confirmed the singer has given birth to twins.

This hearty news comes days after Jay Z and Blue Ivy were spotted at a Los Angeles hospital, which triggered speculations that the pop star had gone into labour.

The Grammy victor singer revealed that she was pregnant with two back in early February with an instagram post.

Jay Z helped to fuel the rumors when he failed to attend the Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards on Thursday night, although he was due to be honored.

Later Obama sent Jay Z a video message - in which he may have let slip the twins' gender.

Beyonce married rapper Jay Z, real name Shawn Carter, in 2008 after a five-year relationship following several collaborations, including on her 2003 hit Crazy In Love. "You see things a bit differently after you give birth and my biggest job now is to protect my child".

"We would like to share our love and happiness", Beyonce captioned the stunning shot, which caught fans by surprise.

Beyonce made many headlines during her famous pregnancy. Rumor had it at the time that Beyoncé and husband Jay Z had rented out an entire floor of Lenox Hill Hospital in NY (later it was determined they had in fact just secured an "executive suite"). However, she did have to cancel her appearance at Coachella per her doctor's orders.
