Trump releases financial disclosure for 2016

Kenny Thornton | 19 June, 2017, 13:49

The highest part of Donald Trump's revenue was $115.9 million recorded as golf-resort associated income from the Trump National Doral located in Miami.

For example, the president's golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, which he only visited for the first time in May, raked in $19.7 million, nearly the same amount mentioned in the 2016 report.

The White House said in a statement that "President Trump welcomed the opportunity to voluntarily file his personal financial disclosure form", adding that the form was "certified by the Office of Government Ethics pursuant to its normal procedures".

Trump's net assets might exceed $1.4 billion due to the ranges of values in the disclosure form. The document released indicates that Trump held executive positions in 565 corporations or firms before becoming president of theUnited States.

He can take back control of the trust at any time, and is free to withdraw cash from it as he pleases. He listed at least $315 million in liabilities, about the same as in the previous report.

"It does not include the debt that is held by the corporate entity", Painter said, noting that misses a tremendous array of potential conflicts, ranging from what the Trump family business might owe banks to partners who might put up investment in his foreign companies.

The data suggests that increased visibility for Trump could have led to an increase in revenue at least for his hotel and golf businesses. The report covers January 2016 through April 15, 2017, reports CNN.

The information comes in a new financial disclosure he voluntarily made Friday to the Office of Government Ethics. That's an increase of almost $8 million from the 2016 filing and roughly $22 million from the 2015 edition.

Triumphant Pakistan have core to target further glory
Although it was a chastening defeat for Kohli , it was something to savour for his Pakistan counterpart Sarfraz. The Indian captain conceded that they needed to check the extras, 13 wides and three no balls.

According to the documents, Trump owes about $315 million to lenders and made almost $300 million in income over the past year.

The graph below shows the the breakdown of the monthly income that Trump has listed on his three financial disclosure forms.

Because the ranges required for disclosure under government ethics laws are so wide - Mr Trump's documents list five separate liabilities each at "over 50,000,000 dollars" - it is impossible to tell whether his debt load has changed appreciably.

President Donald Trump's real estate empire is making millions.

"The Art of the Deal" brought in as much as $1 million for Trump, while his book "Crippled America" earned him another $5 million.

Mr Trump's management fees from Indonesian companies tied to two planned resorts there more than doubled. For many of Trump's properties, specifically golf courses and resorts, Trump lists revenue, rather than income, masking their profitability.

The hotel is housed in the government-owned Old Post Office building, and many have argued payments from foreign governments violate anti-corruption clauses in the Constitution. It's been a location for inaugural, foreign, diplomatic, and business interest events.

Mr. Trump declared $19,666,129 in "hotel-related revenue" from the Washington, D.C. Trump International Hotel, which was opened in mid-September 2016. Trump and the Justice Department have called those claims baseless.
