Manchester United have been cleared of breaching any rules over Paul Pogba's world-record transfer from Juventus, but Federation Internationale de Football Association has opened disciplinary proceedings against the Italian club.

"We can confirm that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Juventus FC".

Raiola was Pogba's representative when he originally left Old Trafford for Turin in 2012 and was also involved in Manchester United's purchase of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic last summer.

United insisted on the back of the investigation that they were calm about the situation.

World soccer's governing body had asked Manchester United F.C. for information about Pogba's world record 89 million pounds (112 million U.S. Dollars) transfer from Juventus F.C., following leaks which claimed to give details about the huge deal.

A Federation Internationale de Football Association spokesman said disciplinary proceedings had been opened against Juventus amid reports that the agreement struck between Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, and the Serie A giants breached third-party ownership rules.

Following an informal investigation, United are not going to face any disciplinary action. We can not confirm further as proceedings are ongoing.

POSSIBLE PENALIZATIONS - If the Bianconeri club is found guilty at the end of the investigation, Federation Internationale de Football Association will immediately impose a penalty on Juventus, which according to ESPN could be either a simple fine to a block on the market.

Historically, breaches have been punished with six-figure fines, but, if found guilty, Juventus could face a possible transfer embargo.
