Thousands of computer users across the globe scrambled on Wednesday to reboot after a wave of ransomware cyberattacks spread from Ukraine and Russian Federation across Europe to the United States.

It says so far there have been no reported local attacks.

Russian oil giant Rosneft and steel manufacturer Evraz followed, reporting they were affected by the virus.
