A woman who works at a Starbucks at RDU Airport has gone missing after not returning from a break Monday afternoon, according to airport police. She was reported missing to RDU police at 7 p.m.
"She went on break at work at the RDU airport where she is a supervisor and never returned", the post read.
Sarah Kosinski told Spectrum News that Cope, who has worked at the Starbucks for four years, only took her keys and left her purse and her phone. "No one has seen her go to her auto, no one saw her leave, they just see the badge clocked out around 3:08 pm but nothing after that", Ferrell.
Cope is white woman in her mid-20s, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black HMS Host-branded Starbucks polo shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Kosinski is guessing her friend was heading to her auto to check on that item possibly left behind.
"Nothing adds up", said Justin Ferrell.
Jury deadlock: Questions posed during Bill Cosby's sex assault trial
The jury's foreman said, in a note to Judge Steven O'Neill, "we can not come to a unanimous consensus on any of the counts". Mr Cosby has been accused by at least 50 women of drugging and sexually assaulting them over the course of his career.
Airport spokesman Andrew Sawyer says he couldn't comment on whether Cope drove away in her vehicle. "She's been there for me when no one else has been there for me".
Friends believe she was running to her auto in the employee lot to get something on her break, and something happened to her.
The 24-year-old's roommate told reporters that security footage caught the Ford Fusion leaving the lot, but it is still unknown who was driving.
'She has her phone glued to her 24/7 so I don't think she'd drive off into the universe with no phone, ' Kosinski said. The vehicle has a sticker for the Change of Heart Pit Bull Rescue. They don't know if the charge just posted a day late, but they said that location would be out of Cope's way to get gas.
