Patrick Beverley writes farewell letter to Rockets fans

Report: Nuggets express interest in free agent point guard George Hill Report: Nuggets offered Trey Lyles and Gary Harris to acquire Kevin Love

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to trade All-Star point guard Chris Paul to the Houston Rockets in a deal involving multiple players, ESPN reported Wednesday, citing sources.

In 2011, Paul was shipped to the Los Angeles Clippers, forming a dynamic trio with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.

In return, the Clippers are receiving a first-round pick, guards Lou Williams and Patrick Beverley, forward/centers Montrezl Harrell and Kyle Wiltjer, and a familiar name to Wisconsin sports fans, forward Sam Dekker. Paul's ability to facilitate the offense - after Harden adapted so seamlessly in his transition to point guard last season - will allow Harden and the rest of the Rockets' three-point shooters potentially even more open looks.

However, as ESPN's Zach Lowe noted on his podcast, "The Lowe Post," the Rockets could maybe use a dose of Paul's more traditional shot selection.

In six years with the Clippers, Paul averaged 18.8 points and 9.8 assists per game.

Since the deal, he's made the All-NBA first team three times, All-NBA second team two times and All-Defensive first team six times.

On the eve of a report from The Vertical on the trade agreement having been reached Wednesday, Paul was on site at Compton Avenue Elementary School hanging out with the kids and working together on new computers. It appears as though Paul will exercise his player option for next season and then be traded, making him a free agent again next offseason.

Data Points on Fallout From CNN's Russia 'Fake News' Retraction
In response to the news, Mr Trump tweeted , "Wow CNN had to retract big story on " Russia " with 3 employees forced to resign". From now on, it will be hard for the fake news media to credibly pin other similar "scandals" on Trump and his administration.

Paul met with the Clippers on Tuesday and didn't like what he heard from the team, sources say.

For his career, Paul owns averages of 18.7 points, 9.9 assists and 2.3 steals in 834 National Basketball Association games.

LA Clippers star Chris Paul is headed to Houston, it has emerged in a sensational turn of events.

While Paul and Harden are certainly an impressive duo, Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has his sights set on something bigger.

While it initially seemed as though the Houston Rockets would be adding All-Star point guard Chris Paul for almost nothing, the stakes have since been raised.

Given that the Chris Paul trade is better than losing him for nothing, Los Angeles will have their work cut out for them.

Paul could have become a free agent this summer but chose to pick up a player option for the 2017-18 season so that the trade to Houston could happen.
