Typical summertime weather is in the forecast with scattered showers and storms in the afternoon. A few of the normally cooler spots may dip down into the upper 40s by daybreak!

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with chance of a storm late in the day or evening. Temperatures will average in the 80s with low humidity.

Rest of Today: Mostly sunny and warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

More widespread showers and storms are possible on Saturday as a cold front pushes through the Mid-South.

The severe threat remains low as the humidity will not be almost as high as last week, but some could contain gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall. Friday is hot and definitely more humid.

Tuesday Night: Scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm early.
