Square Enix has not slowed down since their release of Destiny 2, keeping the ball rolling with a brand new announcement teaser trailer for the upcoming "survival action shooter" - Left Alive.

There are some big names attached to Left Alive's development, with Toshifumi Nabeshima of Armored Core series fame directing the game. Producer Shinji Hashimoto is also on board as is Yoji Shinkawa, the man known for his legendary character designs in the Metal Gear and Zones of the Enders franchises.

Sadly, not many details were shared in the reveal trailer, but the game seems to feature mechs and a post-apocalyptic world. More is expected to be revealed during the Tokyo Game Show this week.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan rose 0.9 per cent to heights not visited since late 2007. With no new actions by North Korea over the weekend, investors pushed Europe's main share index to a six-week high.

Left Alive is headed for a launch sometime in 2018, with it arriving for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.

Not much information has been released about the game but considering Shinkawa's history, we can be sure it will be a well-designed game in the art department.
