Tom Cruise Might Be Partially Responsible for the Death of Two Pilots

Tom Cruise Partially Blamed for Crash That Killed Two People on Film Set - The Blast Tom Cruise negligent in plane crash killing two pilots on set of American Made, lawsuit claims

While both Tom and Doug are mentioned in the documents, they are not named as defendants in the lawsuit, however the families of the men add the pair were "negligent" by allowing the doomed flight to take off in the first place. As you may remember, back in June, sadly enough two pilots fell to their deaths while doing an elaborate and risky stunt in the air on American Made's set. They added that the producers wanted to save time and money so they ignored the flight's safety procedures, as per People.

"The demands of filming in Colombia, together with Cruise's and director Doug Liman's enthusiasm for multiple takes of lavish flying sequences, added hours to every filming day and added days to the schedule", court documents said, adding that they desired a "high-risk, action-packed" movie.

Name Tom Cruise's character in Edge of Tomorrow and his British co-star.

The movie, in which Cruise played TWA pilot Barry Seal, who worked for the Central Intelligence Agency and as a drug smuggler for Pablo Escobar's cartel, is released in the USA later this month. Jimmy Lee Garland, a third pilot involved, no longer has feeling in his lower body.

Even more damning for the production, one of the executive producers sent a letter to the insurance company with a formal complaint against Cruise and Liman.

The implications of the Flint environmental crisis provide wide-ranging lessons for cities and states, Slusky said. If people were anxious about it, it could influence their behavior related to deciding to have children, he said.

The families also claim that Cruise could have piloted the plane himself, arguing that the star is "a well-qualified pilot very familiar with the Aerostar and the routing".

Apart from Purwin, Carlos Berl also died on the scene of the crash during the film production two years ago.

The suit, which was filed in April of 2016, is one of many connected to American Made and the crash. Neither outlet specified which lawsuit or follow-up motions were being referenced: The Purwin family sued in April 2016; one of the film's insurance companies sued another in June; Cross Creek sued the plane's owner, S&S Aviation, this month, and according to Variety, the Berl family filed a lawsuit on September 13.

He added that the film, about real-life pilot Barry Seal, recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency in the 1980s to infiltrate the Pablo Escobar drug cartel, was "the most unsafe project I've ever encountered".

Tom Cruise has been partially blamed for a 2015 fatal airplane crash on the set of his movie "American Made" that killed two people and seriously injured another, People magazine reported Wednesday.
