United States blames Iran for supplying missile shot down over Saudi Arabia

'Contrary to Reality' Israel tells its envoys to back Saudis, Hariri against Hezbollah, Iran – report

"We will treat the government of Lebanon as a government declaring a war because of Hezbollah militias", Minister for Gulf Affairs Thamer al-Sabhan told Saudi news station Al-Arabiya.

The U.N. warned that the shut-down of the ports could exacerbate the already hard humanitarian crisis, as the war has already brought the country to the brink of starvation.

Khattar Abou Diab, who teaches political science at the University of Paris, tells VOA the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran has been a "proxy war" on a number of fronts, including Lebanon and Yemen, but he worries that situation could escalate quickly into something much worse.

In case of a war with Iran, Saudi Arabia will be forced to simultaneously conduct military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon and against Houthis in Yemen.

Rouhani's remarks followed a phone call to his Lebanese counterpart the previous day, in which the Iranian president pledged Tehran's support for Lebanon's stability following the resignation of the Saudi-backed Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

The surprise resignation, announced on TV from Saudi Arabia, threw the Lebanese government into disarray and dragged Lebanon back into the increasingly tense regional rivalry between Sunni-led Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran.

The Saudi-led military coalition, which is combating the Iran-backed rebel faction in Yemen, said that it reserved the "right to respond" after Saudi forces on Saturday intercepted a ballistic near Riyadh's global airport.

"We want progress for Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and even Saudi Arabia", Rohani said.

The other anonymous player also said Wednesday: "I'm going to keep it 100 and I'm going to tell it like it is, and it's bad man". His own players are finally beginning to tell us what most fans and media have speculated for weeks: he's lost the team.

In his November 8 comments, Rohani also dismissed meddling accusations and said that "brotherhood, friendship, and support" were the only way forward in the region. The statement also urges the United Nations to review evidence that Iran is perpetuating the war in Yemen to further its regional ambitions.

Ms Haley warned that by providing such weapons to the Houthis, the Revolutionary Guards were violating two UN Security Council resolutions.

The war has killed more than 10,000 Yemenis, mostly civilians, and displaced over 3 million, according to humanitarian agencies.

"Stop the bombing and then see whether the Yemeni people will show a positive response", he said. "What are the Yemeni people supposed to do?" he asked. The crown prince is 32 at the moment.

"If Saudi Arabia is experiencing domestic problems, it needs to settle them and not to try to create problems for the other peoples of the region and speak out against them", he said.

The stance is a sharp break from the Obama administration's policy on Iran, which provided Iran with $1.7 billion in 2015 in exchange for the Islamist regime agreeing to delay its nuclear weapons development until 2026.

Awad said just two days before his resignation, Hariri met Ali Akbar Velayati, an influential former Iranian foreign minister who is close to Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameini.

"Houthi missile attacks against Saudi Arabia, enabled by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, threaten regional security and undermine United Nations efforts to negotiate an end to the conflict".
