Simpson was reportedly ejected from Las Vegas' Cosmopolitan Hotel on Wednesday for, according to a TMZ Sports report, "allegedly getting wasted and then being extremely unruly". Las Vegas police said they were not involved in any investigation into an incident at the hotel involving Simpson, since it is considered a "private property issue". The news outlet says Simpson was "disruptive" and that glasses were broken at the bar.

Security reportedly showed up and escorted Simpson out of the hotel, and he has been permanently banned from the Cosmopolitan.

The 70-year-old has been living in Las Vegas since his release from the Lovelock Correctional Center, where he served nine years for a 2007 armed robbery conviction.

Us magazine quoted a source who gave a similar account, saying, "It wasn't the biggest scuffle, but he did cause a scene and it was clear to everyone around him that he was very intoxicated". The 70-year-old former National Football League player is no stranger to trouble inside Las Vegas hotels. His parole conditions forbid him from drinking alcohol to excess. However, the facts of what actually occurred at Clique appear to be very much in dispute at the moment.
