Three people were fatally shot in the neighborhood during a 10-day span last month, leading to increased police patrols.

The area where Felton's body was found is close to where three other murders occurred in Seminole Heights last month. The murderer has not been caught.

Police said they believe October's shootings are linked by proximity and time frame, but they don't have a motive or a suspect. The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Ronald Felton.

A report of shots fired came into dispatch around 4:51 a.m. and police said they responded within a minute.

- A shooting investigation is underway in Seminole Heights, police said, where one person was found dead.

"We will hunt this person down until we find them", Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn said during a press conference Tuesday morning.

"I spoke with a woman who told me the man killed in Seminole Heights regularly helps with homeless outreach, and was out early to get set up", tweeted Meredyth Censullo‏ of WFLA. He was last seen wearing all black with a baseball cap on, and was armed with a large black pistol.

We know when Tyson Fury will return to the ring
Fury posted on Instagram: 'First session back on the pads with Ben Davison in Hatton Gym, feeling good'. Fury was scathing about Joshua's last performance against Carlos Takam on October 28.

They believe the killer may still be in the area.

Police are asking residents nearby to stay indoors as there is still a massive police presence on the scene.

Tampa officers said they are investigating a Tuesday morning shooting death which occurred at Caracas Street and Nebraska Avenue.

Dugan also asks every gun owner to verify their gun is still inside their home.

Officers have saturated the area, and will be going door-to-door looking for witnesses as well. If it is missing, it should be reported immediately.

On Oct. 9, victim Benjamin Mitchell, 22, was waiting for a bus on North 15th Street and Frierson Avenue in Tampa.

Anyone who may have any information, should call the Tampa Police at 813.231.6130.
