Manchester City Reportedly Set to Revive Alexis Sanchez Pursuit in January

Arsene Wenger: What's different about Mesut Ozil at Arsenal over past month “Transfer window is around the corner” – Ex Arsenal star aims accusation at Alexis Sanchez & Mesut Ozil

They could have him for nothing, zero, zilch come June, but according to a report today, Manchester City are ready to go back for Alexis Sanchez in January - and will pay big to get him.

It's been well documented that Sanchez's current deal with the club expires at the end of the season and Arsenal are set to lose him for free should they keep him beyond January.

The Citizens wanted to land Sanchez in the summer transfer window and saw a £60 million deadline day move fall through, with Arsenal failing to land the player's replacement, Thomas Lemar, from Monaco. However, Petit has suggested that Ozil and Sanchez have improved their form in order to engineer a January move. They have a part to play in that as well. We have said it many times.

Much of the attention at Emirates Stadium this season has focused on the contract rebels, as they continue to run down their respective deals. As long as they are here they give their best for the club.

Trump Travel Ban, Back in Action, Faces More Court Showdowns
The justices urged those courts to rule swiftly, but offered no rationale for letting the full ban take effect in the meantime. The court's order said the appeals courts should decide the cases "with appropriate dispatch".

Sanchez is out of contract in the summer, leaving Arsenal in the hard position of either cashing in on their star man, or risk losing him for free at the end of the season.

According to the report, Guardiola feels the foundations have been built to mount a challenge on the Premier League and UEFA Champions League crowns this term, and Sanchez would add a key piece of quality to the squad.

For starters, Sanchez would need to pass Raheem Sterling, who has been in electric form for the Citizens this season, keeping summer signing Bernardo Silva on the fringes, while Leroy Sane has also been in and out of the side.
