"Prima facie, it appears that Regar killed the man and the man was dead when he set the body on fire", Rajsamand superintendent of police, Manoj Kumar, told the Hindustan Times.

In the video, it can be seen that the man hacks another man who is reportedly a Muslim laborer from West Bengal, and then sets him on fire.

The victim, identified as Mohammed Afrazul, was a migrant from West Bengal's Malda district and was working in Rajsamand as a contract labourer.

Internet services have been suspended in parts of the state and people have been urged to stop sharing the video. Though Rajasthan-based senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot condemned the killing, even he downplayed it on TV by calling it a law-and-order issue.

The police had initially received information about the semi-burnt body of a man being found.

Ladbrokes Coral in talks over takeover by GVC
The outlook for these outlets is unclear pending the outcome of the government review of fixed-odds betting terminals. Houlihan Lokey and Investec are advising GVC on the deal, while Ladbrokes Coral is working with Greenhill and UBS.

The half-burnt body of the victim was found on a deserted road after locals alerted the police.

Raigar had allegedly brought along a friend with him to record the video of the incident.

The video shows the perpetrator hitting the man with an agricultural tool, and then pouring kerosene on his body and burning him alive.

He allegedly took Afrazul to his agriculture farm on the pretext of hiring him for a construction work. Pehlu Khan's murderers walk free today, since despite the viral video, evidence against the majority community members committing hate crimes against members of minority communities is never quite enough.

Afterwards the attacker can be heard warning against so-called "love jihad", a term used by religious radicals in India to accuse Muslims of marrying Hindu women in order to convert them. In the video, the killer is seen talking about love jihad and presence of a young girl is also seen the video, which has fuelled rumours that it might be a love jihad case.
