Following Gomez's great social media purge of 2k18 (AKA when the "Fetish" singer unfollowed all but 37 accounts on Instagram) was an intimate reveal into the star's humble beginnings. Gomez changed her profile photo to a picture of her mother, Mandy Teefey. Meantime, the picture which she shared on Instagram of the house where she grew up has smitten her followers.

Her on/off friend, Demi Lovato, didn't make the cut, giving rise to speculation of another fall out.
