Manchester United are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Brazil global Lucas Moura.

A potential stumbling block in the move is United's desire to sign the winger on loan, whereas the Brazilian would prefer a permanent move.

The Brazil global joined Paris Saint-Germain from Sao Paulo for a fee in the region of 40 million euros in January 2013.

Since his arrival from Sao Paulo, Moura has scored 46 goals and provided 50 assists in 229 games for Paris Saint-Germain, including one goal and one assist in 6 games (79 minutes) in all competitions this season.

Lucas Moura has struggled for game time this season and is keen to leave the club in January.

The forward did not play in any of Paris Saint-Germain's six Champions League matches and would be available for selection if the deal goes through.

Moura will be looking for a fresh start after his career has stagnated at the Parisian giants. He is a long term admirer of Moura and believes he can get the most out of the Brazil worldwide. He thinks that such a price tag would drive Manchester United away and therefore, he wants the club to accept an agreement for half the amount i.e. 20 million euros ($24million).

However, according to latest reports, it is said that the Red Devils are only interested in taking the player on loan, although Unai Emery wishes to offload him permanently.

Blessed with huge potential, Lucas Moura could certainly add an extra dimension to the slightly jaded Manchester United attack.

Signing the 25-year-old in January would be a masterstroke from Jose Mourinho.

Moura has already turned down a move to Claudio Ranieri's FC Nantes while Le Parisien claim he considers a move to any French club as a step backwards.
