Home-grown hero Kane has repeatedly underlined his commitment to Spurs and manager Mauricio Pochettino on Sunday talked up hopes that he could remain a one-club man in the mould of Roma's Francesco Totti.

The statement came in the wake of rumours that Spanish giants Real Madrid were keen on signing star striker Harry Kane to bolster their squad.

Kyle Walker trebled his wages when he was lured away by Manchester City last summer and Kane has already indicated that the north Londoners need to start winning trophies to keep hold of him.

"Harry is happy. Always, I told our fans, he is happy", Pochettino said.

- Reuters picLONDON, Jan 12 ― Tottenham entertain Everton tomorrow with assurances from chairman Daniel Levy that the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli will not be leaving this month or at the end of the season.

The goals took the 24-year-old's tally for the season to 18 in just 19 games - he has since played twice more in January - and to the top of the Premier League Golden Boot race.

Spurs host Everton on Saturday, looking to maintain momentum after a run of seven victories out of nine matches.

"Personally, I never look next to me at what the other teams are doing".

The chairman said earlier this week that he was confident of keeping every single player that the team needed next season.

"If you want to sign players that you are going to use and help you, it's hard to find this opportunity", he said.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are now out of the Champions League places, although they can draw level on points with fourth-placed Liverpool if they win at Wembley and overtake Jurgen Klopp's side if they beat the Toffees by five goals or more.
