After kicking off in 67-72-66, the ASU product began in solo 8th, four shy of co-leaders Potter, Jr., and Dustin Johnson.

"I just think you even have more respect for the guys who win and play consistently at a high level because it's the hardest game out there". "To come back from that it is unbelievable right now".

Potter briefly lost his overnight advantage when he three-putted from 25 feet at the first, only to match Johnson's birdie at the par-five next and then hole from six feet to birdie the fourth.

Potter finished at 17-under 270 for his second PGA Tour win, after his previous success in 2012. "I get my second career win after five years away from it".

Johnson was quick out of the blocks with an eagle at the par-five second hole.

Olympic Protest: South Koreans Burn North Korean Flags, Images of Kim Jong
Athletes from the two countries marched side by side during the opening ceremony and have formed a joint women's hockey team. In short, the winter Olympics at Pyeongchang is fast turning into a metaphorical wedge to split an uneasy alliance.

His only blemish Sunday was a three-putt bogey on is first hole but after that it was smooth sailing the rest of the way. Despite the disappointing finish this week, Johnson, the world number one, has already racked up three top-two finishes this season.

"All in all, still a good week, you know, T-two I guess is not awful, but I would have liked to put a little bit more pressure on Ted today", Johnson said.

Seven players tied for eighth at 10-under 277, including 2014 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am victor Jimmy Walker, who posted a final round five-under 67 to finish inside the top 10 for just the second time in his last 26 starts. "It is still a good week and finishing tied for second is not bad".

Fitzgerald, 34, who played in the pro-am last at the Phoenix Open last week, has become a golf fanatic the past few years.

"Just back from my mini-tour days, tournaments I've won in the past, just drawing back from past experience of winning golf tournaments", he said.
