It looks like Snapchat are finally introducing tagging in stories

Snapchat Snap Inc (SNAP) Hopes New Tagging Feature Leads To Increased Engagement

To tag someone, shoot a photo or video on Snapchat and then start adding text.

Taking a play straight out of Instagram's book, Snapchat is adding the ability to tag other users!

Snapchat confirmed they're testing the feature to TechCrunch but didn't reveal when the feature will go live.

Earlier this week the app added a "Do not disturb" option that users can turn on for their friends on the app.

Rihanna Reportedly Set for Another Business Venture
Rihanna has supposedly been working on her lingerie launch with TechStyle for over a year and half, but a firm release date or name for the brand has yet to be released.

A few users, including actor Matt Rappaport, appear to have the feature already.

Influencers including DJ Snake, Tchami, and even Kylie Jenner have made the switch from Snapchat exclusively to Instagram Stories. Snapchat's version of the feature asks users to swipe the "more" option, displaying the name of the person tagged, their handle, a Bitmoji and an "add" button to follow their account. Usernames will automatically generate a tappable link to the associated profile.

Last month, the company added a "Tabs" feature to the app that separates Snaps into Group Chats and active Stories. The tag is not static though - tapping on it will open a menu where you'll be able to send a friend request or message to the tagged user.

Apparently the new tagging system is now being rolled out - so be on the lookout!
