A passenger described the panicked screams, chaos and crying on board as his Dallas-bound Southwest flight made an emergency landing at Albuquerque International Sunport. Apparently an electrical fire filled the cabin with smoke forcing Southwest Airlines 3562 to land.

Emergency vehicles were on the runway to tend to the plane and the passengers.

The Boeing 737 was diverted to Albuquerque, where 140 passengers evacuated the plane. Also audible is someone ordering passengers away from the plane saying, "Put your phones down".

"I sent a couple of texts out to loved ones that you just don't really want to have to send out", Brandon Cox said. Some had to jump off the wing.

Video he posted on Twitter showed people using a slide connected to another emergency exit. "It was dark, cold and rainy", he said.

Two people from flight 3562 were taken to a local hospital, but their condition is still unknown, a tweet from the Albuquerque Fire Department said. Their injuries are unknown at this time.

A Dallas Police officer aboard the flight tweeted that Dallas-based Southwest's flight attendants 'did a great job!'

A Sunday evening flight to Dallas took a unsafe turn for some Southwest Airline passengers.

Southwest is the largest airline operating out of Tampa International Airport.
