"All the seals have been found intact at all the centers". However, the ministry can only step in after CBSE submits a formal report. While the panic gave way to apprehensions that the examination would stand cancelled in case of a paper leak, the board dismissed the allegations and attributed it to "mischief".

The board said that though the transportation of the board examination answer booklets through public transport was barred under rules, it was confirmed that the secrecy of the answer booklets was "not compromised" when the complaint in this regard was verified. "Meeting is underway and we have asked them to look into this at top priority". CBSE has chose to take strict action against such activities. An FIR is being lodged, said the Board.
