The duo made the unexpected discovery while hunting for riches with metal detectors on Rügen, Germany's largest island, in the Baltic Sea.

Around one hundred coins out of the treasure trove belonged into the Danish King Harald Bluetooth, whose identify is utilized in advanced bluetooth mobile technologies.

"This trove is the biggest single discovery of Bluetooth coins in the southern Baltic Sea region and is therefore of great significance", lead archaeologist Michael Schirren told national news agency DPA.

The state archaeology office then became involved and the entire treasure was uncovered by experts over the weekend, the Mecklenburg-West Pomerania state archaeology office said.

Malaschnitschenko and Schoen were invited to participate in the recovery.

Continued excavations archeologists-professionals. On the island of rügen they managed to find over 600 coins, amulets in the shape of Thor's hammer, brooches, necklaces, pearls and rings.

Wait and see on China trade
That left China with a rare trade deficit for the month, also the first drop since last February. Shipments of copper, crude oil, iron ore and soybeans all rose from the previous month.

At first Malaschnitschenko thought he'd just found some worthless pieces of aluminium, but it turned out to bethree silver coins, reports DR Nyheder. Back in 2015, a man discovered Roman-era coins, mosaic glassware, and hobnails from a pair of shoes and last year, four 2,000 year gold torques were unearthed in England.

More than 100 of the coins have Christian crosses on them and are believed to have been minted in the kingdom of Bluetooth.

At that time Harald was at war with his son, Sweyn Forkbeard, so it is surmised that the hoard was buried by the king in his flight.

He is credited with unifying Denmark and introducing Christianity to the Nordic country. He was known as Bluetooth probably because of a prominent discoloured tooth.

In fact, the famous Bluetooth wireless technology which we use today to transfer files and connect our devices also gets its name from the king.
