Wagner Takes GOP Nomination for Governor

PA-Gov: Gubernatorial primary marked by mudslinging: 'When I get punched in the mouth, I punch back' Republican Governor Candidates comment on last push before the polls

A recent Susquehanna poll shows Ellsworth a close third to Mango and has Wagner leading, with almost 25 percent of Pennsylvania Republicans undecided.

Scott Wagner, Republican candidate for Pennsylvania Governor, campaigns at a diner in Imperial, Pa. Monday, May 14, 2018, the day before the Pennsylvania primary where he faces two other Republicans, Paul Mango and Laura Ellsworth.

Though Wagner and Wolf might technically have a lot in common, they've spent the first hours of their general election contest drawing lines in the sand. "I want it because I'm a down to earth guy, and I'm a results guy". Scott Wagner secured his party's nomination for a spot on the ballot in November.

Wagner, like Mango and Ellsworth, is not taking any vote for granted.

All three of the candidates' favorability ratings are above water, with Wagner having the most favorable rating. We have a governor [Tom Wolf] who's not providing leadership. "But we think we're a couple points ahead, to tell you the truth", said Mango.

As the race ended, he finally got it.

Stan Lee Files $1 Billion Lawsuit Against POW! Entertainment
The BBC has contacted POW! and the Hong-Kong based Camsing International Holding, who owns it, for comment. If someone had read the document to Lee, the suit adds, "he would not have knowingly signed it".

The poll shows 37% of voters said they would vote for Wagner, while 23% said they would vote for businessman Paul Mango and 18% said they would vote for lawyer Laura Ellsworth.

"It's not an easy thing to go out and run a statewide campaign", he added.

And Mango warned Wagner what would happen if he didn't take down his ads, the station said. In an unorthodox move, he also picked his own running, Montgomery Co. real estate executive Jeff Bartos, who won the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor Tuesday.

"Val was critical to our victory and I am looking forward to a strong and unified party as Val and I lead together", Wagner said during his victory speech.

Wolf's ticket saw an upset, with incumbent lieutenant Mike Stack losing badly to John Fetterman, the mayor of a small Allegheny County steel town.
