Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors 6/3/18, Prediction & Odds

Curry switch Klay Thompson expects to play in Game 2 of NBA Finals with sore ankle

The Golden State Warriors rolled over the Cleveland Cavaliers in a convincing 122-103 win on Sunday night to grab a commanding 2-0 series lead in the 2018 NBA Finals.

Well Golden State fans appreciated Smith's blunder so much they gave him a standing ovation ahead of the second game. "It happens. I've just got to move on". Yet Thompson did receive some kind words from Smith.

What a start for JaVale McGee and the Warriors in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

LeBron James kept Cleveland close despite Golden State's torrid shooting with 10 points, five assists and four rebounds.

Cleveland had more steals and more rebounds than their opponents, with fewer turnovers, but had a tough time scoring - they shot only 42% to the Warriors' 57%.

"He makes tough shots, that's what he does", Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said.

Curry, a 30-year-old guard, broke the old mark of 8 3-pointers in a Finals game set by Ray Allen of Boston in 2010.

Crews aboard two commercial fishing boats in the area were asked to join in the search by authorities, according to Newsday . Stewart issued a statement Sunday remembering the Krupinskis and their grandson as "dear friends" whom she will deeply miss.

Game 2 wasn't Curry's most efficient outing (33 points on 11-for-26 shooting from the field) as he targeted Kevin Love as a mismatch.

Smith admitted Saturday that he may not have been clear about the score in the final seconds of Game 1.

"Klay is just a physical specimen", Warriors coach Steve Kerr told the Mercury News on Friday. In less than one minute in the beginning of the fourth quarter, Stephen Curry answered a LeBron James 3-pointer with two of his own, extending a seven-point Warriors lead to 13.

Officiating will likely be even more closely scrutinized than usual in Game 2. I think not being physical enough. I had some games where I struggled a bit, and that's just a part of it. Andre Iguodala (knee) was out again for Game 1 and is doubtful to play tonight.

The Warriors will evaluate Klay Thompson after pregame warmups to see how he does on his sprained left ankle suffered in the first quarter of Game 1 when J.R. Smith slid into him.

He said: "I didn't take smart shots". Curry, who has a history of ankle injuries, chipped in with his own thoughts: "You should have asked me", he noted. "He's doing everything he can while he's on the sidelines to help us out".

Kerr remains optimistic the 2015 NBA Finals MVP will play at some point in the series.
