However, nothing else was revealed by NASA, so far, but the US Space Agency called for a press conference for tomorrow, Thursday, June 7th, reported HealthThoroughfare.

For now, everything is strictly hush-hush.

NASA has said the testing of the new drilling and sample delivery method will continue as the Curiosity team analyzes the results of the lab analysis. NASA stated that Michelle Thaller - the assistant director of science for communications, Planetary Science Division (NASA) would host the discussion.

At 2 pm EDT (6 pm UTC) this Thursday, NASA will have a big Mars announcement to make.

Via this new method, Curiosity positions its drill over two small inlets on top of the rover's deck, pouring in the appropriate amount of rock powder for the onboard laboratories to do the chemical and mineralogical analysis.

The space agency says it involves "new science results" but you'll have to wait until 1 p.m.

Just Cause 4 confirmed, thanks to early Steam advertisement
Just Cause 4 will bring the total number of Avalanche games in development to three, one for each major studio within the company. It was expected to be announced at E3, with speculation that Avalanche New York would be developing the game.

However, all the hints indicate towards a correlation between the restart of Curiosity Rover's drilling experiments and this "new science results".

At the same time, British journalist and media commentator Nick Pope voiced his opinion on the new MSL discovery on Twitter. InSight won't rely on either CubeSat for that data relay, however; that job will fall to NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.

The Curiosity was launched in November 2011 and landed on Mars in August the following year. Delivery to its chemistry laboratory will follow in the week ahead. For the first four years, the nuclear-powered rover operated longer and better than expected, but in December 2016, a problem occurred.

Late last month, the rover used it's newly function drill to collect rock samples for the first time in almost two years.

"This was no small feat. It represents months and months of work by our team to pull this off", said Jim Erickson, MSL project manager. "The gambit paid off, and we now have a key sample we might have never gotten", Vasavada said. "It is rather impressive to have a moment such as this, five years to the assignment. It means we can resume studying Mount Sharp, which Curiosity is climbing, with our full range of scientific tools".
