President TrumpDonald John TrumpTrump to leave G-7 summit early, travel directly to Singapore Stormy Daniels's former attorney files defamation suit against her Justice Department seizes reporter's phone, email records in leak probe: report MORE maintained his calls to crack down on what he deemed unfair trade practices by key US allies on Friday, as he prepared to head to Quebec for the Group of Seven Summit.

"Please tell Prime Minister Trudeau and President Macron that they are charging the US massive tariffs and create non-monetary barriers", Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday.

Mr Macron was speaking alongside Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, who is hosting the summit, and the pair signalled they would warn Mr Trump of the potential damage tariffs could cause the US.

Busy year, huh. What was last year's G7 like?

In his own tweets in French and English, Macron stated that while Trump "may not mind being isolated" the other six leaders meeting in Canada would also not mind signing an agreement among themselves.

The latest series of tweets by Trump follow posts he made last night - including his accusation that his host Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is being "indignant".

Donald Trump is due to fly into Quebec on Friday morning for a G7 meeting which, even before it has begun, is already on the way to being the most acrimonious in the summit's history. Those in the United States who make that argument are typically counting third party goods imported into the USA through Canada, which Ottawa considers an unfair accounting.

"Trump thought Canada was going to be the easiest country to play, and he's disappointed that didn't happen", said Dunniella Kaufman, a Canadian trade lawyer based in Washington.

Poundworld on brink of administration putting 5300 jobs at risk
Deloitte has been preparing contingency plans for an administration in the event of talks collapsing. Losses for the financial year 2016-17 were £17.1million, up from £5.4million the year before.

National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow told reporters on Wednesday that the president was aware of disagreements over trade, but he said the country's chief executive was "sticking to his guns".

The summit has already been dubbed the "G6 plus one" due to Mr Trump's isolation over trade and his decision to pull the United States out of the Iran nuclear deal.

President Trump will head to Singapore next week for an historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, where he will address the rogue country's controversial nuclear program.

Few though expect Mr Trump to back down, prompting fears of a bad-tempered summit and the prospect of leaders not agreeing the traditional end-of-summit communique. French President Emmanuel Macron, who has tried to be friendly with Trump in the past, has recently shifted to a tougher line against the White House.

But in response to Trump's comment, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, "Russia is focused on other formats, apart from the G7", according to news agency Sputnik.

Europeans agreed to push for references to global trade rules and caution on Russian Federation in a final G7 statement, the source said, adding that Europeans believe conditions are not there for a return of Russian Federation to the G7. "But he doesn't bring up the fact that they charge us up to 300% on dairy - hurting our Farmers, killing our Agriculture", the United States president said. "Because these 6 countries represent values, they represent an economic market which has the weight of history behind it and which is now a true global force", French President Emmanuel Macron Tweeted Thursday.

Trump took the action on the grounds that weak domestic industries could affect US national security.
