If LeBron James leaves the Cleveland Cavaliers this summer, he could potentially team up with Chris Paul in Hollywood.

With Chris Paul set to enter free-agency in July, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski doesn't expect Paul to accept anything less than a max contract, via Clutch Points' Shane Mickle.

James has produced one of the all-time great postseason campaigns this year to drag an underwhelming Cavs team to a fourth straight appearance in the NBA Finals - an achievement that also marked James' eighth consecutive trip to the season finale.

If the Houston Rockets want to keep their star-studded backcourt intact, they'll have to shell out the big bucks to keep Chris Paul from leaving during free agency. Most have pegged Paul George as the most likely candidate to be pairing up with James. "I don't imagine it playing out that way". Wojnarowski said that the Oklahoma City Thunder have a "real opportunity" to keep George but noted that the Rockets would "be aggressive" in trying to find a way to sign him, per Brett Dawson of the Oklahoman.

Chris Paul is undeniably one of the main reasons why the Rockets became the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and nearly eliminated the Golden State Warriors in the conference finals. In 58 games this season, Paul averaged 18.6 points, 7.9 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.7 steals on 46 percent shooting from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc.

Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey made it no secret that he put his team together to not only compete, but to beat the Golden State Warriors and knock them off their pedestal.

Pete Zayas of Lakers Film Room told the Under the Buss Podcast that LeBron James has already chose to join the Lakers - and that Paul George will signing with them as well. Paul has suffered multiple injuries in the past, and at 33, no one can deny the fact that he's already on the near end of his career.
