A new game from Marvelous and First Studio game was announced during the E3 2018 Nintendo Direct. Daemon X Machina is heading to the Nintendo Switch in 2019. It's called Daemon X Machina and its the most metal thing. So basically everything great about robot battles. The game sees players take their customisable mech suit on a variety of missions to thwart an enemy threat. Players will be able to obtain weapons from defeated enemies and attach them onto your Arsenal "on the fly" to adjust your strategy against a range of different enemies.

The game is now in development stages by Marvelous First Studio using the Unreal Engine 4. The game's characters were designed by Yusuke Kozaki who has experience with the Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates series.

The game's release is set for 2019 but its exact date is still unknown.
