Hundreds of protesters are gathering in multiple locations across England following the arrival of US President Donald Trump.

A giant "Human Rights Nightmare" banner is unfurled by Amnesty International activists across the river Thames on Vauxhall Bridge to protest against the visit of Trump.

"I mean, the list goes on", he said.

Prime Minister Theresa May will host Mr Trump and his wife Melania at a dinner at Blenheim Palace this evening.

Some British citizens are even more distressed about Trump than they are about the U.K.'s own feverish political turmoil.

Trump will depart Britain Friday for Finland to prepare for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin Monday in Helsinki.

"I would love to say that I think this is going to be a hugely successful visit but I think it's going to be very hard", he said at a pro-Trump gathering in parliament.

President Trump said the British people "voted to break it up, so I imagine that " s what they " ll do" and "Brexit is Brexit".

London Mayor Sadiq Khan - who has had a particularly contentious relationship with President Trump - approved protesters' use of a "Trump baby" blimp during the president's visit to Great Britain.

President Trump arrived at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is in Oxfordshire, in his helicopter at about 7.50pm before being greeted by Theresa May.

He also took part in legal action over the vote recount in the state of Florida during the 2000 presidential election. Justice Anthony Kennedy opened up a seat on the court by announcing his retirement June 27.

A number of protests have been organized across the country to coincide with the president's visit.

It was, Angela McCormick, 49, a college lecturer, admitted, a ruse to publicise bigger rallies and the first of the protests expected at the two Scottish golf resorts Mr Trump bought when he was just another billionaire businessman.

"Our trade and investment relationship is unrivalled - we are the largest investors in each other's economies and every day a million British people go to work for U.S. companies in the United Kingdom and a million Americans go to work for United Kingdom companies in the U.S.", May said.

The president's comments come as the prime minister prepares to release her controversial Brexit white paper which will confirm that Britain intends to remain in a single market for goods with the EU.

Donald Trump will visit Windsor as part of his two-day trip to the UK.

He then said that he "at least partially won an election" based on his immigration views, adding that European countries are equally concerned about the issue.

Sarah Elliott, chairwoman of Republicans Overseas UK, told CNN she did not think Trump would be fazed by the stunt.

Ignoring all diplomatic niceties, the convention-shredding United States president set up the four-day visit with a rebuke of his beleaguered host as she battles to stop her government falling apart over Brexit. "I think they agree with me on immigration", Trump said.

"Now, for the benefit of all our people, let us work together to build a more prosperous future".

On Friday, Trump will bypass the mass protests in London as he heads to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst with May for a military display, before talks at her country residence, Chequers.
