On Friday night, the President jumped on Twitter and went after LeBron James & Don Lemon for their latest interview this week.

During the interview, James shared his thoughts on Trump and how his policies and behavior has drawn a wedge between Americans, especially when it comes to sports. "It's always been something that brings someone together".

In the interview James and Lemon covered an array of topics, including Trump's presidency. The president also said he preferred Michael Jordan. "He is doing an awesome job for his community".

In an interview that aired on CNN last Monday, James and CNN host Don Lemon discussed politics and James' recent opening of a school for underprivileged children.

"U bum", James said in the now-famous tweet.

This is not the first time James and the president have been at odds.

On Saturday afternoon, Melania Trump also issued a surprising, positive statement about James, but did not reference her husband.

The Saudi-led alliance says capturing Hodeidah would cut off the main supply line of the Houthis and force the group to the negotiating table, but it has made no major gains since it launched the offensive on 12 June.

James' foundation has partnered with the Akron Public Schools system to open the "I Promise" School, an elementary school that will support at-risk youth.

Now Lemon and Jordan have both responded, while James has shrugged off the insult.

CNN anchor Lemon also chimed into the Twitter debate, saying: "Who's the real dummy?"

"In response, a spokeswoman for Melania Trump said that the first lady watches 'any channel she wants, '" the Hill reported.

But despite hostility between Donald and LeBron, it appears that Melania has taken the high road, choosing to stay out of the unfolding drama. He has praised James in the past, repeatedly calling him a great player and a "great guy".

"So let me get this straight: Flint, MI has dirty water still, but you anxious about an interview about a man doing good for education and generations of kids in his hometown?" Ben Simmons said James is "a smart dude (and one of the most thoughtful athletes we have). You're a constant embarrassment".

At the time, James came to Curry's defence. Yahoo News White House correspondent Hunter Walker points out that before James started criticizing Trump, Trump used to be a fan.
