According to a doctor at Al Thawra Hospital many injured have been transferred to other hospitals and "there is a large number of deaths, and we can not count now because the number is large, above the capacity of the hospital".

"We pursue any allegations and if there is any responsibility we will hold it transparently", Colonel Turki Al Malki told Al Arabiya television.

The Center "expressed its sympathy and deep sorrow for the deaths of innocent civilians in Yemen, stressing the need to spare civilians in all Yemeni governorates the effects of the conflict", according to a Saudi Press Agency statement on Sunday.

Eight projects were inaugurated in the Yemeni region of al-Mahra on Wednesday during a ceremony that was attended by President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi and Saudi Ambassador of to Yemen Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Jaber, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

The Saudi-led alliance says capturing Hodeidah would cut off the main supply line of the Houthis and force the group to the negotiating table, but it has made no major gains since it launched the offensive on 12 June.

The attacks, which were also denounced by a senior UN official, come as the United Nations has said it will invite warring sides in Yemen for talks on September 6 in Geneva to discuss a framework for peace negotiations.

Manchester United Set To Complete Toby Alderweireld Signing In Next 48 Hours
And this development has led to United calling off their pursuit of Mina and turning their attention back towards Alderweireld. The Colombia worldwide was closing in on a move to Old Trafford after he agreed a five-year contract with United.

The Houthis, allied with Saudi Arabia's regional arch-rival Iran, control Yemen's capital Sanaa and Hodeida port, the entry point for around three quarters of the impoverished country's imports.

"The humanitarian situation is indeed shocking, both in scale and severity", Ging said, stressing, "these figures call for urgent action".

The operation continues despite the United Nations warnings of a possible humanitarian catastrophe.

Saudi Arabia has also imposed a blockade on Yemen, which has smothered humanitarian deliveries of food and medicine to the import-dependent state.

"Under International humanitarian law (IHL), the civilian population, medical personnel, ambulances and medical facilities must be respected and protected in all circumstances, and the work of medical personnel must be facilitated", Bruwer said. "Everything we are trying to do to stem the world's worst cholera epidemic is at risk".

Qassemi also noted that the daily bombardment of civilian targets and massacre of innocent and defenceless people of Yemen by Saudi and Emirati warplanes should not normalize the crimes committed by the aggressors in the eyes of public opinion at regional, global and worldwide levels and make them indifferent to the crisis and the plight of the Yemenis.
