It is reported by Interfax Thursday, 4 October.

The landing came with Russian and USA officials investigating the appearance of a mysterious hole in a Russian space craft docked at the orbiting station.

NASA astronauts Drew Feustel and Ricky Arnold and Oleg Artemyev of Roscosmos touched down on steppe land southeast of the Kazakh town of Dzhezkazgan at the expected time of 1145 GMT.

The three members of Expedition 56 returned home inside the same Soyuz MS-08 spacecraft that delivered the other half of the Expedition 56 crew in June.

NASA removed these before and after images of the ISS hole from a Space to Ground video update in September.

The crew accomplished a lot during their many months in orbit, taking delivery of five cargo deliveries containing not just supplies for survival but also various tools and instruments to carry out scientific experiments in the zero gravity environment.

Kim Kardashian 'most risky celebrity to search online'
Supermodel Naomi Campbell came in second on the United Kingdom list while Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian took out third place. Australian actress, Ruby Rose has just been named the most "dangerous" celebrity on the internet for users located in the US.

The two NASA astronauts also conducted outreach from 250 miles above Earth's surface.

Feustel, 53, invoked Hollywood comedy actor Jack Black's character Nacho Libre as he tweeted farewell to life on the space station. The duo participated in three spacewalks, during which they upgraded camera technology that will help astronauts more precisely monitor the docking process of future commercial crew vehicles.

Feustel on Wednesday turned over command of the station to European Space Agency astronaut Alexander Gerst of Germany.

A crew of three - Roscosmos's Sergei Prokopiev, and USA and German astronauts Serena Aunon-Chancellor and Alexander Gerst - remains on the ISS.
