Melania Trump is in Egypt to wrap up a four-country tour of Africa by visiting the pyramids and the Great Sphinx.

Quickly, people across the globe slammed her because the hat was similar to the one used by colonial masters in Kenya.

She added that Kavanaugh is "highly qualified for the Supreme Court".

Members of Congress had the opportunity to review the FBI's completed report this week, and a final vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation, which is expected to pass, is slated for Saturday afternoon.

Despite her expressed desires, a series of beige outfits Trump wore on her trip to Africa has been under scrutiny - not because critics find them unfashionable, but rather, because they say the clothing references harmful colonialist attitudes about the continent.

She was welcomed by Egyptian First Lady Intissar Amer al-Sisi, an observant Muslim who wore an ankle-length blue dress and matching headscarf covering her hair.

But on social media, the angry tweets and hashtags about the helmet rolled in: #FLOTUSinAfricaBingo documented what some felt were Trump's tone-deaf fashion choices. "That's very important. what I'm doing with my initiatives". She has faced a wellspring of criticism for that particular effort in light of the president's often vitriolic tweets.

Ms Trump, who is in Africa to promote her children's welfare programme, began her trip in Ghana, where she visited mothers and their newborns, and toured a former slave trading fort.

'I am honored to meet the honorable lady, the wife of the American president, in Cairo tomorrow, and to wish her a successful and happy stay in her second country, Egypt, ' she wrote in Arabic.
