President Donald Trump's former communications chief Hope Hicks has been hired as communications director at the newly revamped Fox company. Earlier this summer, Bill Shine, the former co-president of Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, joined the White House staff as deputy chief of staff for communications.
Hicks, a former model, worked on President Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign as press secretary and left the administration in February after admitting to telling "white lies" on behalf of the White House in testimony before Congress.
It's not immediately clear how much of a role Hicks will have at the New York-based Fox News, where communications has been run for several years by Irena Briganti.
