Elizabeth Warren’s DNA raises question

Trump Says Warren Being 'slammed' over DNA Test Obama’s Former Campaign Manager is Pretty Ticked About Warren’s DNA Stunt

Warren's results included an expert saying they show "strong evidence" that she has a Native American ancestor.

Warren acknowledged that distinction, and said she does not have any tribal affiliation and doesn't list herself as "Native in the Senate".

While experts and pundits will argue over how much or little being 1/32nd Native American or 1/512th Native American is, it is worth noting the timing. "Even they don't want her. Phony!".

As for Who Cares?, The Daily Show's Trevor Noah has a pretty terrific response - watch it below - but first, a recap of the recent back-and-forths between Trump and Warren.

The kerfuffle began during Warren's 2012 Senate campaign when opponents accused her of having advanced her academic career as a law professor with the narrative that she is a descendant of Cherokee and DE tribes - using said claims to qualify for affirmative-action hiring considerations.

Her critique and dogged pursuit of justice in the current US political system has put her in line for retaking her seat on the US Senate.

Why did Elizabeth Warren release DNA results?

He's had a three-touchdown game as a rookie in 2016 at Denver, when he scored touchdowns by rushing, receiving and return. He will pass Kurt Warner, who was favored in 55 consecutive games from 1999 to 2003 for the "Greatest Show on Turf" St.

Warren is in the midst of her own Senate re-election campaign, as well as a midterm blitz to help other Democrats nationwide win their races.

In a Boston Globe poll taken in the thick of the weeks-long story, most voters said the controversy wouldn't affect their vote.

Why this is a big deal now: Because Trump hasn't let it go.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), fresh off his re-branding during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, told "Fox & Friends" Tuesday morning that he's thinking of taking one of those mail-in DNA tests, and he's nearly certain it will prove he's more Native American than Sen. The Cherokee Nation, which in 2012 mostly stayed out of the furor, said it was "inappropriate" for Warren to claim a connection to the tribal nation - most likely aware of how this could be a major campaign issue in a few years and unwilling to be drawn into it.

Pocahontas was a historical figure from the 17th Century and using her name in an intentionally disparaging way insults native peoples and degrades their cultures. He later upped the ante by saying "I'll only do it if I can test her personally".

After denying that he ever made the $1 million promise Monday, Trump clarified later that day that it only applied if she took the DNA test during a 2020 presidential debate and if he conducted it "personally".

ABC's "World News Tonight" focused on "Pocahontas" being a "racial slur" and anchor David Muir reminded viewers that Trump once suggested he would pay $1 million to a charity if she took a DNA test to prove her heritage. The unanswered question is how this will play out for Warren now that she, too, has elevated it.
