Brian Kemp Is Getting Desperate

The Democratic Party has firmly denied attempting to hack Georgia's voter registration system after the state's secretary, who is running for governor, leveled the meddling charges against them just days before the midterms.

The Georgia race has been tainted by accusations of voter suppression under Kemp and racially charged remarks directed at Abrams.

The racist ploy was in response to Oprah actively campaigning for Abrams in Georgia.

Stacey Abrams: "Once again, for the third time, he has put our voters at risk, and he has refused to take responsibility".

"Kemp tried to play that Trump card to get where he's at", she said, adding that Abrams, by contrast, highlighted unity.

"This is yet another example of abuse of power by an unethical secretary of state", Rebecca DeHart, executive director of the Georgia Democratic Party, said on Sunday.

Kemp said he had notified federal agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI.

The contest between Kemp, who now sits as Georgia's secretary of state, and Abrams, who is vying to become the country's first black female governor, had already become a flashpoint for allegations of voter suppression. That total is almost twice the number purged between 2008 and 2012, the group said in a report. Republicans have won every Georgia governor's race since 2002.

Other Georgia Democrats called the investigation a "political stunt".

An epic battle for control of Congress and the future of Donald Trump's presidency was wrapping up Monday as both parties made their final appeals to voters. Rather, they said, Small had received an email from a voter that pointed out flaws in the voter registration's security system, and how it could be exploited to find voters' personal information.

"It sort of jumps off the page at me as being something that probably should have been turned over to the [Georgia Bureau of Investigation] or to an appropriate district attorney to investigate", Cox told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Suppressing the vote of the dead is probably a good idea if you want a free and fair election.

Abrams slammed Kemp as a "bald-faced liar" who abused his powers as the sitting secretary of state when he suggested over the weekend, without offering evidence, that the Georgia Democratic Party tampered with the state's online voter database.

"This is a desperate attempt on the part of my opponent to distract people from the fact that two different federal judges found him derelict of his duties and have forced him to allow absentee ballots to be counted and those who are being held captive by the exact-match system to be allowed to vote", Ms. Abrams said.
