While there apparently was no meeting between Bell and the Steelers on Wednesday, the three-time Pro Bowl selection did shed some light on his situation with a pair of unorthodox tweets.

If you didn't think the plot could get any thicker in the Pittsburgh Steelers-Le'Veon Bell saga, you're clearly not reading the fine print.

Bell has been in Miami working out this season but did leave Monday to head to Pittsburgh.

But Bell might not receive the warmest welcome if he chooses to reunite with his team this month. Bell has until next Tuesday to report to the team to maintain his eligibility for the season.

But despite Bell's tweet, the Steelers still haven't heard from him and their focus remains the same with the players and coaches in the building as they prepare for Thursday's game vs. Carolina, a source told ESPN.

Returning Jets receiver 'fighting' to help Sam Darnold wasn't enough
The last thing the Jets want is for their still-developing franchise QB is to become increasingly gun-shy. Jones, who's played with the Dolphins since 2011, left in the game's first quarter, according to ESPN .

According to Kaboly's source, a franchise tag for Bell this offseason would be considered the third whether the running back reports by the November 13 deadline or not.

If Bell is designated on a third-year franchise tag, it would be worth around $25 million, which would be one of the highest contracts in the NFL.

The transition tag would allow Bell to negotiate with other teams and allow the Steelers to match any offer.

"Just about everybody has an opinion on my life and anxious about what I'm doing". ". Don't judge me off my decisions because maybe this isn't what you'd do. but most people don't take the time to just simply read between the lines".

On Wednesday night, Bell posted two messages on his Twitter account in upside-down text, saying in part that he's "not apologizing" for his holdout.
