"...Just For Asking A Question": CNN Reporter, Punished By White House

After asking President Donald Trump four questions during a press conference on November 7, Acosta refused to give up the mic to let other reporters ask questions.

The President was involved in a furious row with Jim Acosta following the midterms, which led to the CNN reporter being banned from the White House for "inappropriate behaviour". She called the behavior "absolutely unacceptable".

President Donald Trump struck back at a black female reporter's question about his calling himself "nationalist" as "emboldening white nationalists", calling it a "racist question", "insulting", and "very awful".

The White House News Photographers Association's president Whitney Shefte issued a statement expressing outrage that Sanders "may have shared a manipulated video".

The battle between President Donald Trump's White House and CNN's Jim Acosta became incendiary Wednesday. Acosta rudely rebuffed the poor woman, moving the mic away from her as if they were playing high stakes keep-away.

"I tell you what, CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them", the President said, shaking a finger at Acosta. The way you treat Sarah Sanders is disgusting. Many of the Trump administration's claims about this caravan have been proven false, and CNN has been the driving force in calling out these lies.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted the video, which shows Acosta asking a question to President Donald Trump on Wednesday as the intern tries to take his microphone away. Only they would attack the President for not being supportive of a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters over the course of an hour and a half - including several from the reporter in question.

Democratic favorite Conor Lamb, who stunned Washington by winning a special election in the state, beat Republican Rep. That will give Trump a partial claim of victory and allow him to continue his drive to reshape the federal courts.

By the time I posed my question, the president had been pacing at the podium just moments before.

Trump immediately interrupted Acosta as the journalist began to ask his question.

"Honestly I think you should let me run the country and you can run CNN", he said in the press conference at the White House. The president turned away, trying to go on to another reporter, but Acosta refused to give up his microphone. "And it is so sad that you asked me, and no, you rudely interrupted him".

Invoking the words of a fellow writer, Rowling cited George Orwell's 1984 to denounce the White House's actions.

Trump also barked at April Ryan, another frequent White House critic, repeatedly telling her to sit down and not speak out of turn.

Acosta said he thought the suspension was also an attempt to "send a message to our colleagues".

Acosta denied the accusation on Wednesday, saying on CNN, "I didn't put my hands on her or touch her as they're alleging".
