On the surface, it seems like Chase reveals that he considers The Sopranos' final scene to be "a death scene", which would indicate that - as many people have theorized - Tony caught a bullet after that famous cut to black.

Cast members Edie Braco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Vincent Pastore, Michael Imperioli, Annabella Sciorra, John Ventimiglia, Robert Iler, Kathrine Narducci, Vincent Curatola, Tony Sirico, Dominic Chianese Jr., and Steven Van Zandt gathered to mark the occasion with many of them attending a panel discussion to mark the series anniversary.

As you may or may not know, entertainment reporters Matt Zoller-Seitz and Alan Sepinwall have collaborated on a new book called The Sopranos Sessions, which arrived in stores today. While the series regularly featured the occasional flashback sequence, the modern-day story often fixated on the idealized fondness Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) had for the days when his father was a mafioso.

The actor also said Chase, who is writing the upcoming film, told him that Dickie and Tony's relationship "is an important one in the film".

Now Chase has confirmed a young Tony will be part of the storyline. "I was interested in exploring that".

Seitz, however, picks up on a phrase that Chase probably regrets using.

The focus will be on the crime families, such as Tony Sopranos. Chase refrained from returning to the mob world for some time, perhaps not to tarnish the series that made HBO a major player in original content, however his interest in the city of Newark birthed this prequel film.

Muslim youth group collects trash at national parks during government shutdown
In one day alone, Purdy said volunteers collectively hauled out about 4,000 pounds of trash. "The national parks are a treasure". If Shenandoah National Park takes part in the plan, the trust says it will still cover the cleaning cost of port-a-potties.

He added, "I was living in suburban New Jersey at the time that happened, and my girlfriend was working in downtown Newark".

"Yeah, I feel they're out there with shotguns, just waiting."

This being said, Chase also elaborated that the film will harken back to a more "professional" era of the Mafia.

"Yes, I think I had that death scene around two years before the end", says Chase, who has consistently refused to elaborate on theories that the ending symbolizes Tony's point of view going dark when he's assassinated in the restaurant.

Chase will produce "The Many Saints of Newark" and has written the script with "The Sopranos" writer Lawrence Konner.

The Many Saints of Newark is now in the casting process atWarner Bros' New Line Cinema.
