K-pop group BTS 'to present award at the Grammys'

BTS is officially going to the Grammys 2019.

Music's biggest night will take place on February 10 at Los Angeles' Staples Center and air live on CBS and streaming on CBS All Access at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.

In December, BTS has received their first-ever Grammy nod, making them the first K-pop act to receive recognition from the prestigious music award-giving body.

Last year, the group won all four awards they were nominated for at the fan-voted E!

A spokesperson for the band confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that its members - namely Jimin, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin, V, Suga and RM - will take to the stage at the 61st annual awards, though did not reveal in which category BTS will present the golden gramophone. In return, BTS members are expected never to miss the chance to show their love and appreciation to their fans once they hit the Grammy stage.

That means their achievement came in eligibility for the 2018 ceremony - putting them out of the running for the 2019 awards. Live performances include Brandi Carlile, Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Janelle Monáe, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes and many more!

Sunday's Grammys will be hosted by American singer and songwriter Alicia Keys.

Rapper Kendrick Lamar leads the way in nominations with eight, followed by Drake with seven and producer Boi-1Da on six.

The Grammys will be aired on Sunday, February 10, at 8 p.m. on CBS.
